Hyperboles

…. Life is a complex thing.
A land so vast and varying,
a scene so complex and so lively
That even one small balalaika
sounds like a massive choir of strings.
And there are times we make a mountain
out of a molehill; holes – though small –
Seem craters, and as insurmountable
seems each wheelrut as a wall.
Yes, difficulties by the score!
It well may seem we lack the force
To cope with all of them ….
But no –
Such force exists – and from this source
Our grandiose achievements flow!
